Introduction:In view of the growing significance attatched to embro-culture in recent years in experiments with plants,an attempt is mad in this paper to describe in some detail the evolution of the embyo-culture and its achivements in the field of plant breeding iving some newly recorded observation made by the author in his embryo-culture work in maize.
