Abstract


The Cultivation of Seedless Grapevine: The variety grapvine known as seedless or Kismiss was introduced in Madura District during the year 1938from Kabul,by the Agricultural Department,Madras and planted at Pattiveeranpatti.Gradually the cultivation spread and to-day this crop covers an area of nearly 40acres in Madura District and to a small extent in Ramnad and Tirunelveli Districts.
