Abstract

Tea is probably the most popular beverage in the world,the total consumption being some hundreds of million pounds per annum. The cultivation of this plant has enabled thousands of acres of what had been. For manycenturies.waste land in many countries to be converted into valuable plantations:and the cultivation of the plant.the manufacture of tea and the commerce in tea have been lucrative employment to thousands of people.
