The results of a field experiment conducted to study the effect of N and K fertilizers on the N uptake by bhendi fruits at successive etages of picking are presented Application of both N and K increased the N uptake in bhendi fruits. The uptake of N was the highest at 8th picking and the lowest was at the lest picking of the crop.
