Abstract

Sclerospora graminicola (Sacc.) Schroet, incident of downy mildew disease of pearl millet (Pennisetum americaunm (L.) formerly (Pennisetum typhoides (Burm.) stapf and Hubb., is one of the major limiting factors for optimum yields particularly with new hybrids.
