Abstract

Carbofuran, an insecticide, also has growth stimulating etrect. To find out its effect on rice, field experiments were carried out during the summer and monsoon seasons of the year 1979, Carhofuran application was found to increase the growth and vield com ponents and also the grain yield of rice.
