A study was carrie out to find out the problems confronting the panchayat presidents confronting in their active involvement in planning and execution of agricultural production programmes.The study was underta -ken in two randomly selected blocks of Chingleput district.The presidents in the selected blocks numbering -100 were interviewed by means of a structured,pretested schedule.The findings are furnished in Table 1.
