The Intensive Agricultural District Programme (I.A.D.P.)personal were releasing agricultral news articles in news paper"Dinamani"The present study aims at finding out its influence on adoption ofselected practices of rie.The study revealed that there is influence of agricultural studies mostly at awareness and interest stages for new rice varieties whereas in the case of old rice varieties the influence was in the adoption stage.that too in the form of rainforcement of knowledge or correction of practice.Thus there is influence on adoption by reading agricultural articles.
