Village Teacher's Interest in Agriculture

Abstract


Seventy Percent of the teachers of Pudukkottai and Madukkur Pancheat Unions of Thanjavur district had lands and were doing agriculture by themselves.The remaining had no lands and were non-cultivators .A major proportion had either medium or high drgree of interest in agriculture.The teachers possessing lands and engaged in agriculture had better interest than their counterprts.The communiator role.organiser role and spokesman role were performed ny more than ninety.
