Abstract

Twelve insecticides were tested as foliar sprays in the control of rice blue leafhopper.Parathion(0.05 per cent).dicrotophos(0.05 per cent).monocrotophos(0.10 per cent),orthene (0.30 per cent)and methyl demoton (0.005 per cent)seed and seedling-dip treatments were effective in combating the jassid.
