Abstract

Soil application of systamatic has shown that cytrolane could be effective against fruit borer (Leucinodes orbonalis Guen.)of brnjal.The order of efficaccy of the different insecticides against the fruit borer was cytrolane> dimethoate> phorate> increase in plant height evident in all inscticides tried.dimethoate recorded higher yields to the extent 47.72 per cent over control.
