Abstract


The incidence of sunflower root rot disease caused by Maccrophomina phaseolina(Tassi)Goid.is commonly observed in TamilNadu.The pathogen has a wide host range and has been found to cause considerable damage to sunflower.An attempt was made during 1972-73 to assess the influence of different levels of NPK on the occurrence of root rot disease.
