Uptake Pattern of Phosphorus in Rice related to modes of application

Abstract


A study was undertaken to compare the uptake pattern of soil and folliar application of phosphorous at 20,40,60and 80kg.ha.The various phosphorus fractions were estimated in the samples.Total acid soluble phosphorus accumulated more at higher phophorus levels but roportionally decreased towards the agei- ng of crop.As regards.RNA andDNA phosphorus levels but proportionatally decreased towards the ageing if crop.As regards.RNA and DNA phophorus .phospolipid towards the ageingof crop.As regards.RNA and DNA phosphorus.phospolipid and and phosphoprotein.there was no significant difference due to the level of phophorus.
