Abstract

Rain A Life Giving Gift from Nature. The Madras State, particularly the Tamilnad and the Carnatics, has had now some welcome summer showers after a portracted period of drought and widespread distressed conditions. The people in general and farmers in particular cannot but feel thankful to nature. With all the resources and achievements of man, so far there is nothing parallel to 'rains' from nature.
