Abstract

Introduction.In and around Coimbatore sugarcanes begin to arrow in October-November.It is not known why certain varieties arrow.while others do not.There is a certain amount of prejudice in these parts against arrowing.Form what follows it will be seen that arrowing is really a disadvantage in many respects in these parts.
