Association of Economic Biologists.The Annual Meeting of the Association of Economic Biologists was held on 26th January.after the usual tea and photo.The annual report was read andseveral amendments to the riles were passed.It was decided(a)the reduce the rate of subscription from Rs.4toRs.2per annum (b)to have an additional Vice President from among the members outside Coimbatore and (e)to havu an Assistant society and Treasurer.The following office bearers ware than elected .President Mr.V.Ramabnathan vice presidents:Mr.K.Krishnamurthi Rao and Dr.T.Ekambaram,Assisiant Secretary and Treasurer :Krishnamurthi Iyer and Committee Members:Mr.K.Ramaiah and Dr.E.K.Janaki Ammal.The retirding President Mr.K.Ramaiah delivered an interesting and illuminating address on "grnetics in Rice "
