We welcome into the ranks of Journalism 'The Indian Labour Review' a monthly devoted to the interests of all workers. We congratule Mr. Ernest Kirk on the new venture. As a dis-tinguished member of the Theosophical Society a world wide organisation whose motto is "Brotherhood of man", Mr. Kirk is best fitted to edit this journal on behalf of labour. He has been long connected with labour and as an Irishman has studied the woes of labour not only in his native land but in other coun-tries as well. We hope that, guided by the principles for which Mr. Kirk stands viz; constitutional agitation and harmony amongst different sections of the population, Indian labour will considerably advance and gain their rights and privileges which they now know not of. We hope that workers in India will profit by the experience of fellow workers in England and other countries in the west and always be led by such celfless men as Sir M. V. Joshi and Messrs. Ernest Kirk, B. Shiva Rao, and V. Giri.
