Abstract


Paddy. First Report: -The area in Madras is 13.2 per cent of the total area in India. The area sown up to the end of September is 7,443,000 acres, - an increase of 7.5 per cent over last year. This increase is mainly in Tanjore and in the Circars. Deccan, Nellore, Chittoor, North Arcot, Rawnad and Malabar have shown a reduction.
